Meet Tiffany

Tiffany has been a certified mediator through the Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Office since 2015 when she began her work with SEDRS.

Tiffany’s prior career encompasses 20+ years in the fields of Human Resources, Operations, and Finance and has held her Professional in Human Resources certification since 2012. Tiffany is the Lead Trainer for all Mediation and Restorative Practices with a Michigan based Community Mediation Center.

In addition to General Civil and Domestic mediation certifications, Tiffany has completed specialized mediation skill trainings in Eldercare, Child Protective Services, Behavioral Health, Special Education, Adult and Minor Guardianship, and Abuse and Neglect mediation and facilitation. Tiffany is also certified as a Restorative Practices Circle and Conference Facilitator as well as certified to train other facilitators of Restorative Practices through the International Institute for Restorative Practices.

Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Alma College and her Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Tiffany has worked with Princton University to train both state and local governments in De-Escalation techniques.

Meet Marc

Marc has an extensive background in Public Administration, Leadership, and Policy. He received Degrees in Political Science, Economics from Alma College, followed by a Law Degree and Public Policy Masters from Michigan State University.

He was raised by two educators and was made to understand that respect and relationships were the cornerstones to one’s professional and personal wellbeing. He has been able to work for Think Tanks in Washington DC, within the city government of Southfield, for the House of Commons in Ottawa Canada, and now Executive Director of a very successful Michigan-based community dispute resolution center.

Marc began his legal career in Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2004. Marc has serviced a President of the Board of a Michigan-based domestic violence shelter, Chair of the Effective Practice and Procedures Committee of the ADR Section of the State Bar, a board member of the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health, Co-Chair of the Michigan Community Mediation Association, and has worked with Princton University to train both state and local governments in De-Escalation techniques.
